stealthy1 3,964
Who would you put you £5'r on at the bookies? David Haye or Nikolay Valuev? My fiver's going on Haye, because I love a challenge http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8269454.stm How the bookies see it http://odds.bestbetting.com/boxing/profess...n/fight-result/

zap 4
i reckon haye aswell i,m sitting watching clips o valuev and i think he may be to mobile for him
ferretville 69
Haye needs to pop the shots off and move and make valuev come to him . Haye should be far to mobile for valuev but if he thinks he can stand there and trade punches with that giant it will be lights out.
Attack Fell Terrier 864
Haye has a great chance at beating him, he could even stop the big goon, but I still don't consider Haye to be a real heavyweight, and although Valuev does not punch his weight, I'm not sure Haye will stand up to the weight of the big Russian's shots if he's caught clean. Haye needs to use raiding tactics and not get too over excited. I'm hoping Haye does it, and I think he can, he's just got to be fully focused and watch what he's doing. We need a character like him in the heavyweight division to liven things up, so best of luck Dave, do your best mate!

I am not putting a bet on this one as I have no idea, Valuev is a mountain and will take some stopping, but Haye has been working his tits off in the gym and seems really up for it, so I don't know but I will be cheering on Haye. JoeD I hope he has been grafting in the gym like he should! Theres so much of Valuev to hit that it's going to take some doing for Haye not to hit him. I hope Haye annihilates him in all honesty, then a showdown with Vlad should be on the cards, only Haye will not have to be raped in the negotiations for that bout if he's got a title to put on the line against Vlad. It's going to be real interesting to see how things pan out in this one.
bob1993 0
haye i say he well fast the only thing he hasnt got going for him is the height atb bob
Attack Fell Terrier 864
haye i say he well fast the only thing he hasnt got going for him is the height atb bob I don't think his height is such a big problem, He's around 6' 3" it's whether he can take a crack on the jaw from a legitimate heavyweight. He's been spannered and dropped at Cruiserweight, so I'm doubtful of his durability up at heavyweight.
stealthy1 3,964
I think it will be an interesting fight, when Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis met in the ring, Tyson said that he did his best to beat Lewis, but said Lewis was just to big, David and Goliath again maybe
higgins 75
if Valuev has the constititution he should be able to take whats coming,if he gives one good shot to hayes then hayes will be out. This fight has all the hallmarks of a David and Goliath epic,Valuev may not be fast but if can take it he's still in,Hayes however must be able to take the punches, unless points dictate the outcome,i know Hayes may give the best performance but i'm not sure it will be enough to get the better of the giant, Higgins.
