I am now the proud owner of my first lurcher pup. she is 1/2 greyhound 1/4 whippet 1/4 collie.

Any training tips would be appreciated as i've only trained gundogs so far!

nice pup, and she should train ok no prob. But remember one thing to retrieve [does not] come natural to lurchers, like it does gundogs [labs,springers,]. Most lurchers will , but a few [wont] . Apart from that, most lurchers a quite clever and easy to train ,maybe not as hard [temp] as lab+springer , as alot can be sensitive.

agree with the sensetive bit, you only have to look at mine the wrong way and he sulk's.

got her from a breeder close to where i live in cornwall, it was a cracking litter. she's changed quite a bit from the pics shown. will hopefully post some more pics this week. very very pleased with her so far

If you have trained gundogs, you will have no trouble with a Lurcher !! LOL !! Best of luck with it !

looks a belter,my advice to you mate would be not to train in the same manner as a gun dog, lurchers dont need to be so machanicle, the overly excessive commands sour a pup,should be a nice dog for you looks nice.atb doga.
