luke ferret 39
Mixing raw meat with dried food is bad for the dog stomach raw meat digest faster than the dried food wich gives the upset stomach

sandymere 8,263
The dogs digestive system is more than capable of dealing with raw and cooked at the same time, these are healthy dogs not some mad old gal with IBS.

Kay 3,709
To be honest i think its trial & error i have very limited knowledge with only 6 weeks worth of raw feeding under my belt but i can say that every dog is different as i am finding My male isnt fairing so well on lambs hearts , so i have got him on chicken wings & pasta , veg & plain mixer, maybe the hearts were a bit to rich for him but he hadnt done a propper solid poo for over a week , so i switched to chicken as the main meat for him My bitch on the other hand had hearts & chopped in half wings & pasta but she wont eat the veg , she is getting porky on it , so i have slightly fed her less for the last week All in all i am very happy with the general overall improvments in boths dogs coat condition & they just look in better knick I think i may have to stick to chicken for my male as he is a stressey dog at the best of times and the chicken seems to suit him
