l feed my pups raw but u have till worm them alot if can cook it cook if l could l would but u know by there shits and stomach just whatch incase 2 strong for the pup mix it with a good dry puppy mix if yea can hope pup turns out well for best luck

Its a bit of a grey subject imo, as dogs in the wild would eat raw meat and they are adapt to cope with this in there digestive system, BUT, when you cook meat, i dont mean cook the hell out of it but just brown it slightly it could actually work in the dogs favour as this helps to breakdown the proteins in the meat which will inturn aid digestion and protein absorbtion.

i like a good broth mince pasta veg and a good dry food ,cant beat it on a cold winters nite on the outside bioler , they get raw two but greta having a big juicy mixture when it gets colder up here in the north ,not that it gets that cold now , i cok the vegpasta and then let the raw mice bil for ten mins then its ready or whtever meat they get or fish , it doesnt matter if cooked or not mate as long as they run and try there best found that out years ago

thought that so gave him some raw mince and wolfed it down, will i just do the same with rabbit?? just skin gut and give it to him?

 

Any Rabbit you catch, freeze it first because of the worms it can give your dog. You're menat to freeze them for around 2 - 3 weeks so I'm lead to believe.

 

If you get a lot of rabbit then just make sure you do your stock rotation and you wont get mixed up with whats what.

 

Raw is best because not nutrients drip out of the food like when they do when they're being cooked.

 

A dogs system has evolved to eat raw flesh and bone.
