philipmurray 0 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 I got call from m nolan off here to go ferreting....i was feed up of me ma saying that you may work so i said yes.. we arrived at the permission at 11.30 thanks to chippy for not waking up...! we then walked the land to see if rabbits where about and to see which ditch was good...! we decided to do the first ditch..a few rabbits ran on to...! we then set the quickset up and got the ferrets in.. about one minute later one in the net.. then chippy pulled one from a purse net and m nolan ran when a rabbit hit the net 3 rabbits in 15 minutes... then things went down hill ferrets where in for ages on a kill but he was to far down to dig 14 ft then a rabbit hit the net and ran out the athletic Chippy jump on him and got him....! then another 2 hit the quickset 6 rabits in 2 hours.. then we had to wait 2 hours as the ferrets where down 12 ft but chippy dug a fair hole and they eventually came out... Would like to thanks m nolan for dinner..... four of us went.. chippy mnolan philipmurray and james doyle.. where out tomorrw again weather premitting we gave the farmer one rabbits for his dinner Quote Link to post
