wireviz 8
John that is correct but your actions influence others and as an AW you must lead by example.Your right about hard and fast rules not being every thing but your reply to the earlier statement tells me your only an AW to make money. Not because you believe what you are doing is correct. Quote Link to post

john robbo 30
As I have said W.V. my A.W.status has nothing to do with what I do. It means I witness stalks and don'nt interfere with candidates desicions good practice or otherwise I simply record the evidence gathered in the process of a stalk. I am not going to be drawn in to one of your slagging matches. Alot of my ground is large fields with "field roe" Killing mum first in these circumstances ensures all 3 are shot as there's no where to run!!. I don'nt do it all the time at all of the places I evaluate every situation and all the possibilities and make a decision based on facts not general guide lines for everywhere. The guy pulling the trigger for me is the first consideration. The old does condition is another number of kids, range, place ,cull target, all is thought about. If YOU don'nt do this everytime your a fool. and not doing the deer themselves any favours. Edited November 1, 2009 by john robbo Quote Link to post

If YOU don'nt do this everytime your a fool. and not doing the deer themselves any favours. Couldnt have been written better. Different circumstances throw up different situations, If you followed "guidlines" your whole life in the stalking world you'd be a fool, you HAVE to be flexible. Just because someone is an AW, makes them no different to anyone else taking a young lad out to learn, the only difference is there is some paperwork involved. We take out plenty of people each year, hopefully they learn a little from us, like they will with the next chap that takes them out. No single person is completely correct, i think plenty will agree, you take and learn a little from wherever you can Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
is it true that roe bucks are out of season tomorrow or is this wrong?? Hunting seasons are well published, including at the top of this forum! Simple answer is YES, but Scotland is a little different! Quote Link to post
wireviz 8
Hey foxdropper being a complete knob must be a life times work for you as you are so good at it. Deker must also find it hard to type with his head so far up your large ass. John i was not wanting a slagging match just pointing out your pushing of the doe before kids is not what is the norm and any one who is there in the same situation should take the kids first as there is a welfare issue should you not get all three and i also shoot alot of field roe and family wipe outs are often what is called for but not in the order you state. This is the last i will say on the mater. Quote Link to post
