andy s410c 61 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 Good result S1 ,one thing i miss from my ferreting is a dog but i have'nt got the time for a hound at the moment & when i have it's due to being unemployed ..so have'nt got the money .Looks like you'll have a good working partner there & get her used to the longnet..if it's not to hot to set it out I'll tell you what mate, I started off with a jacket, fleace, tea shirt, vest shirt, by the time I packed up I was just wearing the vest shirt, and I got a tan on one side, never known it be this warm at this time of the year, have you? Going to be warm for me for the next 7 weeks....b d nightshift!!!God i wish i stuck in at school ..hoping to get out Sunday...fingers crossed Quote Link to post

I think she has the making of a good allrounder mate, she loves shooting, as soon as she hears a shotgun she looks for the quarry dropping to the floor, she loves ferreting, bushing is coming on, she soon picks up the lay of the land, on patches that she knows really well, she's started to chase quarry along hedge lines until she comes to a known gap and picks them up, she's got the makings of a good allrounder, and she's still only 8 months old Quote Link to post
