Tyla 3,179
what chance does the rabbit have with four dogs in my eyes a pointless activity. Considerably better chance than with a purse net, does that make all ferreting pointless? Have to admit though that that many dogs would be too many for me but if it works, why knock it? Sully 3
As the fella has said, he's showing the pups the ropes, come on lets not start getting on the fella's back ! Quote Link to post
labsnlurchers 39
Sometimes we take 1 sometimes 4 and on rare occasions more! It all depends on where we are going and what we are doing. In this case we would normally take 2 or 3 because some warrens stradle the fences so we have a dogs either side of the fence but as we were only out for a bit of fun we took 2 old timers and 2 pups. If we were called in there to rid the place of rabbits we would have took 1 dog for marking and purse nets and long nets. Quote Link to post

charlie boy 85
what chance does the rabbit have with four dogs in my eyes a pointless activity. throwing everything but the kitchen sink at them bunnies, as he said good experience for the pups and its vermin so who cares if he had 20dogs on it , by leaving the wholes open and leaving the bunnies bolt is more sporting than netting them like in your avatar imo.
