i have just got back into shooting again after giving it up for a while since having a daughter and sold up etc so i managed to pick up a 22 bsa liightning , with 3-9x50 hawke nite eye ir , tuned up and in mint condition have set up sights etc in back garden and am hitting 1" square at 35yds with accupels and 45yds on pod in a 1.5" so been itching to get out the last couple of days but have had :censored: swine flu and been off work so had to give it a miss so took gun apart and to my suprise it was in excellent condition as i think the lad i got gun off had give it a good service for me (there is some decent ppl out there), any how i went out for a walk around some of my permission and mangaged to take 3 squirels 2 in same tree fighting with each other so droped one at about 25 yds and i thought the other had gone but hen i got closer he had just shiimyed around tree so droped him from about 10 yds both clean shots the other was in middle of field and tried to make a run for trees but i managed to cut the poor like bugger off and he just stood there like a sitting duck in front of me at about 20yds so thats 3 in the bag in 20 mins or so i forgot how rewardign it is, so had 1 final walk around the bottom 3 holes on a golf course and managed 2 bunnies one on the edge of a bunker mound at 35yds and one squatted in rough about 20yds so all in all good hour or so cant wait to get back out now
