zini 1,939
Hi guys, I got some real bad news yesterday which pee-ed me off all day long. Basicially my boss informed me that i was no longer allowed to shoot at work as some pest controller who had been contracted to keep the bunny population down had turned up on Sat night to do some lamping on the football fields and saw my red filtered light shining around the work place location as i was lamping with the lads. He then put in a complaint saying that he didnt dare get out of his car as he was in fear of getting shot by stray bullets :wankerzo4: He also said that he looked for bunnies on the football pitches but there were none Well there wouldnt be as mr R10 has taken care of the little diggers. As it turns out this :wankerzo4: hasnt been since March and expected to have a right good nights lamping due to all the this years rabbits being ready to be culled. He was wrong LOL Next the game keeper phones me and tells me someone had complained that the red lamp was frightening the pheasants at night and so i couldnt shoot anymore till after the bird shooting season. Obviously i wasnt taking this laying down without a fight, thats not in my nature, so i sent a email to the second highest boss in my work place. He shoots himself on the same permission. I explained that i and the lads had put alot of time and effort into lowering the vermin in the working location and it was a kick in the teeth because some jumped up :wankerzo4: was making stuff up. My boss is on side and is helping me now get on a Vermin Register so that i can shoot again. I need to wait till next Tues then i will be back in action fingers crossed again. The good thing about being on the vermin register is that i get more permission automaticially asigned to me with plenty of vermin to shoot. I spoke to a man today who was on the register but now only shoots shot guns and he told me that there is 1 place close to my work that he used to shoot over 200 bunnies per night on. If i get that one Keep your fingers crossed for me lads Zini Edited October 28, 2009 by zini Quote Link to post
