netfull 0
Hi fellow warreners, My seasons start has almost come to a full stop due to quite a severe outbreak of Mixi in the Cheshire and north Wales area, I live in North Wales but my Permission is some 8 miles away in Cheshire. My first day out of the season I saw only one rabbit in about 1 1/2 hours mooching! I presume the landowner was reluctant to tell me of such an outbreak as I have worked his land for some 20 years or so, My own local area does contain a small population of rabbits,I'm unsure if they have been affected by this absolute curse, because of their low numbers I tend to leave them alone. To fellow ferreters in this area as an indication of how bad things are can you indicate how bad this outbreak is or if indeed you are not affected . thanks Netfull(wishfull thinking!)
