honestly not got a jealous bone in my body and will shake a man hand if he wins or loses , but after alifetime of hunting skull duggery and meeting some famous and infamous people ,ive got nephews who i would give a clout if they looked up to me as i wouldnt want them to live the life ive got or somebody killing a few bunnies cmon get real ,mate ,hunting fun and canbe serous but on the world wide scale small in comparison and i like adays bolting rabbs or lamping but no hero worshipper ,mnas youse have not got hi esteems if you would worship a mna kilinh a head of game cmon guys get real

mate i wouldnt look up to either honestly ,you go out and learn and if youre clever you take in things and make mistakes , but there thousands of guys going out catching loads of rabbits ,and yea there are eeejits driving thru crops thtas bad and killing stuff and leaving it lying thtas even worse , but cmon mate shinig lamp and catching afew rabbs or alot of rabb isnt a big deal fech even a stubborn eejit like me can do it for fun lol ive alway said to my nephews and mates set your self high, not a nite on the rabbits cmon now ive took tons of lads lasses out rabbiting ,but very few at the other game , cmon now dont be negative, ther bette things to worship than a nites lamping rabbs

poacher as ayoung lad i lookedup to great sportsmen like muhamud ali duran the great footballers , snooker players pool players , cmon be real mate catching game isnt alway rocket science its getting home safely that is ,day in day out, not picking holes just find it strange for people who would look up to somebody catching lots of rabbits , watched a vidoe other day of a celtic great jimmy johnstone or when alex higgins won the world championship or when man u one european cup or celtic into the final with larrson thats guys who you have to look upto not a dosy lot of twats including me, running about chaseing game at nite ,thats a hobby come passion yull not get rich or famous doing that ,mate get real ,in the hunting game fishing there a few i would give hero status one an old guy now well not old 60 in the summer of 76 took ten g at the salmos inone week , was chased with helicoptors and boats then he thought fech it ill lose the boat and house so he gav eup in 81 he gets a hero worship cause the sea has not many hidieng places ,but please dont hink us guys who go out and play heroes are , old jack hargreaves , the likes of jack charlton maybe as they have proven there self on the big screen

I know what your saying with i dont wanna be looked up to as a hero but not everybody wants to look up to a poxy footballer or a snooker player, when i was a kid growing up my dad youst to tell me stories of nocturnal persuits that he had been on ferreting experditions he had done catching 60+ bunnies and what he had seen while he had been out, to a young kid this is such a great feeling i used to be on the edge of my seat with it. Then as i got abit older and i started going out with my dad i got to know some of the people who knew my dad and saturday nights i would sitt in the pub with them they would be talking about what theyd poached with the dogs that week how they had run ins with the keepers,digging in ravin spots when i was a kid i really did look up to those types of people i really still live in there shadows, some of them are not with us now god bless them but in my eyes there were amasing people.

penda you can see were im coming from i too have been brought up with people who make a nite lamping rabbs llook a bit fun and i know a lolt of real characters i was broutgh up in a fishing village and after that all estates saw a real amount of game and fish , legal an illegal ,lamping rabbs on permision is safe legal ,and good fun and if you get paid even better ,but ive always had a feelin there were more to it than that lol

Its not so mutch about worshiping these people its about takeing a leaf out of their book as i believe from wat i have read tommo is one of the decent lads in the game.I grew up in an area surrounded by land owned by the gentry so poaching was my only option but listening to some of the old boys from the past taught me respect for the land and my dogs.atb dell

mate i caut rabbits and got paid to catch them but never looked at it as abig deal , honestly from 91 to94 say ,had the best times rabbiting and i mean a hundred a day with ferrets nets and dogs but you look and say there more to it than a rabbit for a good dog and srtive for better , i have rabbits weekly with dogs in walking distance ,nothing wrong with rabbitin got a few ferrets left for a jaunt out but it can be predictibale at times easy and well ,after thirty odd years you need things to keep you going, i love arabbbit in white sauce and rabbit curry, but i never look atit as ahero worship thing honestly ,not badmouthing or getting a doig but there bigger things and more testing things to do than arabbit at times , ther are places localy were you could get the , ps bolting rabbits on anice morning is sport for kings ,but i never think to say we caut a hundred ,if i went for rabbs this week if i caught a hundred would you think whall i think the guys got handy dogs and on good land with acsses to jeep to cart them all nite mate

whin the way things are in this day and age i think a thew people should take a leaf out of those types peoples books and i dont think theres more to it then that we,re all just lads and ladies who enjoy gettin out there and doing what we do best working our dogs weither it be 2 rabbits or 200 its getting out there and working your dogs and enjoying what we do thats all that matters none of the arguing the bickering the whos better than who just get out there and enjoy it

no the guys done well catching a hundred rabbits a good nites haul and wel l what more can you say ,i have recorded some pics my old mate but for only invited freinds , i get plenty attetion mate nothing to do with attetion seeking just sometimes cant get round my head what would someone get out of posting apic of ahundred rabbits to show people and strangeres,we are all diffrent for sure and then som e peopl e saying you should look up to them joe cmon mate fech turn it up , when you aboy you show pics or a bad adolescent but if your out alot wht do you need to show pics mate tell atalw show afew rabbits lying about but not rows of them lie iys amovie cmon but think about it
