bird 9,970
Went to a few local places by me, and it was bad regards rabbits not many at all. What was there was there was [lamp shy]. As soon as beam it them they were a way like rockets, fast straight in to the edge.Bryn had to get is act together very quickly. And try to keep them from the edge, and put is strike in quick which he did. And Bryn as a [great] strike and catches well, its a good job otherwise i would have gone home with nout. I have always said [any] dog that can catch down here , [will] catch anywere [Fact] . Keep it up Bryn. Quote Link to post

You will find that you have to have a good dog around here mate, as you obviously do. when you go to other areas with alot of rabbits, out with someone else on there ground you will find that youre dog will make theres look a bit silly to say least lol. keep at it mate, iam off out tonight. These are the rabbits to test youre dog on as you say mate, aslo round here i dont have any choice but to enter a dog on these rabs, will get them a few sitters first and try to pick a few silly ones but in general theres only so much about to run, this does make a good dog mate, but youve got to know when to call it a night on the young dog in these areas, its a fine line between making or wrecking the dog, countless times my mate has said come on lets run somemore just a couple more we will have another,, and ive just said No mate enough is enough. I could go and drive up the hills like you say and trip over them and catch loads, but that isnt what makes a good dog. Its about pushing the bounderies but knowing when to hold back,, a good mate taught me that, and iam still learning now. Quote Link to post
