dodger 2,765
Nightmare tonight took the dogs out on the lamp and suddenly the dogs went after something off the lamp the red dog returned but no sign of the pup,i waited a few minutes but still nothing so we started to look for her after 15 minutes or so we found her lying dead curled up in a ball only 50 or so yards from were they set off. I had to walk what seemed like forever to get the farmer out of bed were he kindly give us a lift back to the motor,i dont think i would of made it back to the car on foot it was as tho jet had doubled in weight. Obviously gutted i think the world of my dogs and put so much effort into them i put so much hard work into the pup,We didnt hear a sound but my first thoughts were she must of been shot by a bullet gun with a silencer but there wasnt a mark on her, also were she was, there were no obstacles she was in the middle of a flat field so impossable for a collision i have no idea how she,s died the only things i can think of is if she struck at whatever she was chasing missed hitting the ground and the impact broke her neck as the neck was very limp floppy but i think the neck would go like that anyway, the only other thing is maybe a heart attack but this would'nt make sence as she,s only 11 months and been lightly worked. As you can imagine i,me gutted but i just want to say thanks jet for the short time we had with you,you was showing great promise i hope were ever you've gone you can continue doing what you was learning to love. The first pic is us setting off for our night out with the dogs. The second pic is me holding jet after her accident. The third is jets last rabbit she will put in the bag in this life. RIP JET YOU WILL BE SO MUCH MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN. Quote Link to post
