can i feed tripe

could i feed my ferrets tripe if i had no other meat to give them

I'd only feed it in small amounts.

Make sure its clean, lot of shit in a stomach lining, lol

I have tried mine on tripe as it was 37p for a load of it, and they ignored it so the rest went to the dogs.

I have 5 ferrets and I feed mine tripe acouple of times a week dont seem to do them no harm they wolf it down, all the best

if ive got no rabbits, mine eat blocks of frozen tripe, beef and chicken. pidgeons, the odd pheasants. allsorts really.

what i tend to do with my rabbits though is skin them, bag up there heart,liver, kidneys and lungs in sandwich bags and chuck them in the freezer along with a bag with there heads in. then feed them a small amount of the offal and a head each. i will save a couple of full rabbits for them aswell.
