zini 1,939
Hi guys, Yesterday i went to check the squizzer traps and low and behold under a pheasant feeder was a big fat rat just sat there eating wheat I watched him for about 30 seconds while i worked out how i was going to get the cam on him to film his demise. Unfortunately i couldnt get the camera close enough on a flat surface without spooking the rat. Not a problem i thought as i raised the R10 to put the cross hair 1 mil dot hold under as the rat was only sat at 20 metres. Not much of a test but it was my first rat with the R10 so i had to make it. A dull THWACK as Davy would say and over went Roland. The 22 FX impacted on the side of his head Next i walked around a corner and a squizzer was doing something in the leave litter. I lased the tree rat and found the laser to intersect my cross hair bang smack in the middle. BINGO its only a 30 metres zero shot . THWACK from a standing shot and down went the squizzer. The impact was in the higher neck area, so i was pretty pleased with that shot. All in all it was a good half hours stalk around and i was well pleased with my first Roland with the R10. Hopefully the rats will start and come more now for the wheat and Zini will be there waiting Zini Edited October 27, 2009 by zini Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
I used a leaf to pick the little bugger up by the tail. I then washed my hands as soon as i got back to work. Zini Edited October 28, 2009 by zini Quote Link to post
