CZ 550 Lux .308

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Anyone got a CZ 550 lux .308, looking for info on performance, accuracy etc.

Regards

Bob.

Hi Bob,

I know its not exactly the answer to your question but i've got a CZ550, which just happens to be for sale ;) with a Monte Carlo Style stock in 6.5x55 and i've got to say it was very accurate - certainly out shoots me with MOA at 100 yards using factory 140gr softpoints.

I really rate CZ - no bells and whistles so to speak but a good, reliable and inherently accurate rifle.

I have owned one and to be honest it was a good rifle, a little light weight mind but the walnut stocked helped. Accuracy was good, action was reliable.

All in all I'd give it a 8 ex 10 but I would not buy another based on current prices and would go with a Rem 700 because CZ are still budget rifles but that of course depends up on the price of the rifle you are looking at.
