Stopping Howling at night

i had same problem with mine ,pissed the neighbours off,but i found that small dogs like to feel enclosed so i built a little box bed for her ,now 90 % of the time she just stops in it.

 

good look brew ;)

You probably haven't but if you have, you've just made your self a massive problem. What ever you do, do NOT hit the dog or else you'll piss the bond between it and you. As a last resort, i would try an electric shock collar that automatically shock it when it barks, but be careful, because if the other dog barks or there's a loud enough noise, it'll still get a shock. A lad i used to speak to who keeps a fair few dogs, his new dog barked all the time, he tried everything, then he resorted to the bark collar, and it soon stopped barking.

was a bit better last nite ... instead it started at 7am this morn .. i never put radio own there due to him being quite didnt wanna disturb him will dio it today tho

 

7 a.m.? Can this pup get out to do toilet if it needs to? Pups, like human babies, cannot hold water for long, about 4 hours max.

When you have a new pup, you should be up and let it out for about 5 a.m. so it is comfortable, then go back to bed for a while.

Bringing up a pup is hard work for the first few weeks, if you do right by it.

i dont keep dogs in my house [bANNED TEXT] apart from the family pet russell ..... its got a run attached to its kennel ? things are getting better now anyways i left the run door open so he can go around the garden and he was brilliant last night not a peep
