Guest rattingaddict Posted September 1, 2006 Report Share Posted September 1, 2006 Hope you have better luck then i did at entering them to fox I bought two from rillington lines and only the dog went to ground but wasnt up to much the bitch i had was the worse alround terrier ive ever seen, didnt kill anything in 14 yrs not even a rabbit died at my mams as her family pet. I was only a young teenager and saved and saved to buy them realy put me off terriers for years good luck with her Quote Link to post
diggory 130 Posted September 1, 2006 Report Share Posted September 1, 2006 Hope you have better luck then i did at entering them to fox once marked a stick pile and this lads bedlington had a look,the fox apeared and attacked the dog which hastily legged it im sure there are lads out there who still work this once fearless ,hammershaft hard,game to the end terrier ,but i fear they are very thin on the ground good hunting . Guest rattingaddict Posted September 1, 2006 Report Share Posted September 1, 2006 I was 15 yrs old and out ratting every sunday, poaching rabbits i also had land to legally walk over(only good thing about a rural paper round) The bitch in question was taken out from being 6 or 7 mths old, watched russels and pats slay rats and bush rabbits. she was so timid, wouldnt enter cover.wouldnt go outside the house if i opened the ferret cage. she was small, and neat and looked the part but cant believe i paid £100 way back in 1985 wish i had the land and the farms know i had then to work the dogs over. like every thing else around me. all covered in factory units, car storage places or 5 bedroomed £350k houses Quote Link to post
