wexford Pa 84
Red mills are dirt, it gives dogs runny shit cos there's not enough oil n fibre in it.. Red mills got complaints about this and they came out with a new improved formula and it made f**k all difference.. There's lots of good complete nuts out there without feedin them Red mills.. ie.. Australian formula, Chudleys, Kasko, Odds On, Beta, just to name a few.. They've all got the required protein, oil, fibre, ash and added vitamins that make a good kibble.. Giro 2,648
I put mine dogs on red mills and they are fine no loose stool... I have tried a few and red mills seems to be fine.. I do feed chicken carcases and meaty bones AM. i just give the red mills Pm a couple of cup fulls.. Some days they just get the cibble and still no loose shite... My dogs where scunnered on beta shit for fun

parkstone 24
for a working dog you cant beat the old fashioned meaty/veg. but if you do need a compleat go for a low protien food af around 18/20% the feeds like red mills racer are meant for racing dogs where short sharp burt's are wanted rather than a prolonged day ferreting or a nights lamping. the high protien foods will make your dog hyper and less responsive to your commands. if you can feed it meat/veg/pasta you'll have a much calmer dog for working.
