SNAP SHOT 194
A very good action, and alot stronger than the newer T3, i'd hold onto it and rebarrel the action when your old barrel is shot out... All the makers are making their manufacturing processes cheaper, just something to think about..... i bet shes a shooter... Snap. Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
yes alot of people like the actions on these. as above get it rebarreled after you have shot it out Quote Link to post
hw100sniper 2
Not wanting to hijack this thread but how do you shoot out a barrel? Sorry for the newbie question but seen this mentioned a few times. Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
A barrel is shot out when the accuracy starts to go by the sheer number of rounds fired through it, the rifling wearing to the point were the bullet cannot stabilise, hence accuracy starts to go. Snap. Quote Link to post

Hi Snap, Thank you for your reply, I was keen on buying a T3 but my mate in the gun shop steered me away from them, and towards the 590 / 595, and said the same as you as regards build quality, etc. Yes it is a cracking rifle, and if ever the barrel wears out I will most definetly be rebarreling it.
