Unfortunly terrier and lurcher men a like are in a losing battle, to much scum out there doing the thing wrong calling themselves terrier and lurcher men and giving each sport a bad name at the end of the day the antis arent going to talk about the the lads that do it right respect there quarry and the land upon which they work, these c**ts that make a mockery out of proper terrier and lurcher work give it the bad name and the antis all the ammo they need at the end of the day joe public never gets to see how most of us do the job right and that the scum out there are a minority unfortunly we're all guilty by assosiation, its a battle we're always going to be in and one were always gong to be fighting to do what we do, f**k the ban and f**k the scum that gives our sport a bad reputation.

Keep doing the job right and always educate those who dont know how.

well said fathom, having never dug to a terrier before, how do you correctly backfill with out filling the tube? im kean to learn the right way! have read on previous threads that some lads add branches and sods then backfill about 2in above hole to allow for sinkage, which makes sense to me, but was rediculed by certain members.... so whats the right way, to allow further digging and above all respect for the quarry and landowner.......

whatever you take out make sure you put back in no sticks or rocks the next man to dig it will be well p....d off
