A lot of greyhound trainers use it in the summer months for their dogs but a topic on this forum moved on to the use of this after a lads dog had fitted in his car after a nights lamping and not many had used it they used the trusty mars bar trick. But you can buy all ingredients to make your own over the counter at a chemist which will save a fortune.

Sugar in water is a good source of energy.. Electrolytes also contain salts to aid in rehydration, which is not as efficient with just sugar.

Good rehydration is essential in sports nutrition to reduce the recovery time...and hence allow the athlete/dog to repeat his performance again in a shorter time spell.]

I use Liquid Life Aid, works very well for my dogs, just as good as recharge, but less expensive.

Same here ,Frank ... I use the same product when tempertures unexpectedly climb during the pheasant season . High temps are tough on Labs .

My running dogs also get it after a long coyote chase .

david

put it with the oxy bottle and plasters ,you will be geting them nice new pink coats next dai,in case it rains when they are out .mate if you work them loose ,and start them young you wont have any need for stuff like that because they will get to know their limits ,unlike the slip and chase at 100 mile a hour dogs .plus they will find a drink if needed .
