stevie_87 2 Posted October 24, 2009 Report Share Posted October 24, 2009 hey folks was out for a shot tonight as the weather was perfect for the ducks. we arrived at our little pond . me and my ,ate walked on to the pond and he bingod a mallard hen that was already on it. we set up the decoys and awaited the flight. first pair of duck that came in i took the back bird witch was a hen gadwall and my mate took the drake witch was a shoveler has anyone came across anythin like this . i've never seen any ducks like this in my like then we get 2 new species in 1 night.! Stevie you had to be there, twas 6am, cloud overhead, rain in the air and a blanket of fog. Picture it, a quack, a squark, a whistle of pinions and a pack of birds is in your vision for .3 of a second, the gun comes up and down comes a bird.
