Lamping other night

Decided to have a wonder with the lamp thursday night when we arrived back in wiltshire,looked good conditions and well the dogs could do with a stretch after the three hour car journey.Well joined by Nottzhunter of here (my cousin) and his dog kye we set off about half twelve-ish.We had about ten runs between the two dogs ,well fly only had the one run ,im still not wanting to over do it with her and she made a good catch with a nicely timed strike,she also added another to the bag when one rabbit ran a little too close when it was being coursed by kye and she snatched it just under his nose whilst still on the lead. She did the same only mins earlier but missed as i was holding her on a shorter lead.Well Kye ran well once again snapping up 3 from 4 runs ,nottzhunter wanted a fourth but it nearly wasnt going to be as they just wasnt playing ball with us but on the last field kye bagged his fourth and finnished it with a good enough retrieve .Very enjoyable night ,good bag also for around here anyway.Dogs ran well and i especially enjoyed watching young kye doing well.

it was a very enjoyable night and we had plenty of exciting runs. REW's bitch is whippet grey with a dash of collie and deerhound. its good to see his bitch back at it.
