Buster Nice one Craig Is that Dr Bobs doubler kit fitted on front and how do You find it as i'm Okay with the standard 4.5 x mag, But might upgrade when i feel the need to use it past 50 yards. atvb Daz 7. Todd Frame 0 Posted December 13, 2012 Report Share Posted December 13, 2012 ok heres mine first my springer- SMK Super Grade XS19 Custom Carbine Hunter with nikko stirling mountmaster 3-9 x 50 and jack pike sling next are my pcps- RWS LR-25 (i think they were falcon before??, same magazine system anyway), its a very good rifle but a tad loud without a moderator, very accurate though. I got it from my local gun shop in barnet for £475 (a special offer in a mag, was £550) i now reget not spending the extra £50 for a walnut stock, its with a nikko stirling mount master 4-12 x 50 scope ive saved the best for last- my weihrauch hw 100 sporter i bought this last month its only 6 months old (i have the reciept). I got it for £600, it came with a bag, loads of pellets, a 2 stage hill pump with moisture trap (i only use a dive bottle but im sure it will come in handy at some point) and a hawke sport hd 4-12 x 50 scope (bargain of the year) The pictures is with my nightvision setup atttched (a sony handycam with nightshot, with a 200mw infrared laser) Quote Link to post

The Goldstar at the top in the pic below has gone to live in Bolton with a very nice man that gave me a fantastic guitar and amplifier in return I have a few 'resto' guns that are in bits as well... Hi Rewdogg I'd say go for a HW for hunting, you could get lucky and get a PCP kit for the upper end of your budget but they usuall go for £450 uppards with scope, slip and filling gear HW 35/77/95/97 etc are all good, a nice condition s/h one will leave you change from your lower budget to get it tuned to make it 'especially smooth' Other decent springers include, TX200, Prosport (upper end of budget), Theobens but strictly speaking these are gasram rifles...
