can you use mk3 collars with mk1 boxs

can anyone tell me if you can use mk3 collar with a mk1 box .. as some one said it works up to about 10 ft

yes, you'll pick up a signal from a mk3 collar using a mk1 box

try it for yourself and see, dig a hole in garden and bury it, that'll give you a rough idea

I tried it the other way round as i have a mk1 collar and a mk3 box i managed to get a signal, it wasn't an accurate reading and the lights on the box were going a bit mental. :stinker:

Mate I told you how deep they 'll work .10 feet -maybe a bit more with good batteries. If you don't believe me phone Deben or check out their catalogue . I do understand you need to be sure before you pay out good money for one but honest I'monly trying to help . All the best

iv found that to mate dont work with mk3

mark1 boxes pick up mark 3 collers but mark 3 boxes dont pick up mark 1 collers

Mark 1 boxes pick up every Deben ferret collar past or present.

Mark 2 boxes will only pick up Mark 2 collars.

Mark 3 boxes will pick up both Mark 3 and Mark 3M collars.
