dose any one ferret at night

Seen it done on a warrener dvd thought about it but to much a risk of loosing a ferret a net or turning a ankle down a hole .Think i will stick to lamping rabbits at night

i have done it a couple of times when i was younger. the reason why we did it at night was the keeper would not give us permisson and it was a hot area but it was crying out to be done, any way this keeper was a right tosser and we wanted to get one over him and at night was the only way

used to do it regular years ago on the estates, good fun had to keep looking over your shoulder because obviously could,nt ferret these places in the day

quixote you sound an eejit for years in the early eighties ,we used to go to a large estate and take bags of pheasants and some nites would take a dog ,a small torch with red plastic on the front net a few holes bolt a few rabbs , done it a few times but for sport , lurcher ready, pure quitness nets on ferrets, in bang they bolted at nite like ,very quick ,never got tons just a brace or two as we had game to carry and a long walk , ive hunted some strange land mostly estates , and never went for rabbits at nite in earnest no money basicaly but in the early eighties there was a good profit in pheasants and roe and all sorts of game and salmos ,thta game with pheasants is finished no price , ferreting at nite aint hard if you no the ground pick a big moon and a good dog not as hard as you think ,no big warrens ,used a long net to as the rabbits on one estate all headed for the woods easy realy but fun could still do it but probaly not the rabbits there now and definitly not the pheasants but still other game

done it mate its fun itds like day time ferreting ones your eyes are used to the dark its like day time and you can see everything. like some one said we sould not commet till we all tryed it

as some have already stated used to do it quite regular on land we had no access to never got big bags but always got a few dont knock it till youve tried it would not mind doing it now but i cant run fast enough
