HI all was just thinking i know we here alot about bullxs but there are always put to greys,was thinking would like to see a first x saluki bull or deer/bull

something like that has any one ever worked them,seen 1 first x deer bull and it looked a demon .

Like you say most people tend to use the greyhound or whippet for the baseline in general lurcher breeding. Probably due to the fact that they are readily available and a safe bet in terms of predictability of the outcome of the offspring.

I think that a first cross saluki x bull may produce a lot of wastage in the litter, but if you did get the wright type out of this breeding it maybe a good dog, but if you used a bullgery instead you maywell get less wastage. TRY IT AND FIND OUT.

I think it would produce a dog to bulky with a deer/bull, suluki/bull might be ok, hard to train though so i've heard

That dog looks like hes got fire in his belly, looks ideal for the bigger stuff or the back biters, althought for a more versatile dog i would have it put back to a straight or 3/4 greyhound. so thefrore the same result could have been acheived with one mating of a deerhoundgrey x bullgrey.

hes just under 29tts hes only had a few rabbits. almost 12 mths old.
