Strong Stuff 2,171
Yes mate, I do use eyelets in my collars normally, but on anything over 3 layers thick the eyelets aren't long enough to go through, I've found it impossible to get longer eyelets. Have been to the manufacturers and they say that it isn't possible to fix them once they get longer than 5mm as the stem crushes before the turnover folds. Have had the melted holes collars tested extensively and have had no problems so far. So there's your answer, hope it makes sense! All the best. Quote Link to post
Strong Stuff 2,171
Not sure mate, I don't make leather collars much, would it need to be leather? I would have thought so. I use a very heavy duty soldering iron to melt the holes, not sure a red hot nail would amke a very attractive hole! lol If you can find me a pic of what you'd need, then am sure I can sort something out. Have fun! Quote Link to post
Strong Stuff 2,171
Just to keep everyone up to date, Have sent 3 collars out so far, and am now waiting for more 1.5" buckles to turn up, have had a few orders for harnesses this week so am a bit low on them. I haven't forgotten anyone, you will get your collars I promise! Quote Link to post
