am i 2 late? how many collars have u got left 2 give away? i have got an irish terrier and his neck is 14inches. i really like the 1.5inch collar you do and i would love a free one if you can. they do look shit hot, cheers, jon

Yes mate, I do use eyelets in my collars normally, but on anything over 3 layers thick the eyelets aren't long enough to go through, I've found it impossible to get longer eyelets. Have been to the manufacturers and they say that it isn't possible to fix them once they get longer than 5mm as the stem crushes before the turnover folds.

Have had the melted holes collars tested extensively and have had no problems so far.

 

So there's your answer, hope it makes sense!

Not sure mate, I don't make leather collars much, would it need to be leather? I would have thought so.

 

I use a very heavy duty soldering iron to melt the holes, not sure a red hot nail would amke a very attractive hole! lol

 

 

If you can find me a pic of what you'd need, then am sure I can sort something out.

Thats what this post is all about really me trying to widen my range, I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction to find a pic or 2 of some couplers?

Strong Stuff, think i have a new 5/8th full buckle and d-ring i'll mail down if you want to look at the quality. pm your address if they are of any use to you. you can get solid brass d-rings,o-rings,belt loops and buckles from 3/4-1 1/2''. they also sell falconry swivels,greyhound quick releases and a few horsey fittings.
