huntingnightowl 13
my son was scared of cows but eventually grew out of it, even so he still isnt 100% comfortable, nothing is enjoyable if you are frightened, part of being a parent is to protect them from what they are scared of, as far as I can see, huntingnightowl is not only being a great dad to his son but also trying to put the dogs best interests first as well.Incidently cant see how whacking the cows with a stick or getting a dog to shift them is a. gonna cure the boys fear b. enamour you with the beasts owner in any way thanks for that brother - this is for the best imo.. james b 0
Its a fear that must be hard to over come im sure lads will agree with me in this i f*****g hate cows they ruin nights not all of them, but theres a lot of mad ones two nights ago was put over a fence by a beef bull, but being raised with them im not afraid of them,i know a lot of people that are scared of them,i find the less attention you pay them the queiter they are warning though cows with young calfs are a no go and stock bulls can be very dangerous especially with a dog. Pennymeadow Whippets 0
hi all due to my sons ever increasing fear of cows he has decided to pack in the lamping and now has a cocker dog to go beating with. this means his whippet bitch is up for sale. she is 12 months old - black and white. he has her retrieving over small fences and she has an excellent temperament. she has up to now caught about 5 rabbits on the lamp but is by no means an experienced lamping dog but since catching is coming on well. she is bang in season at the moment in case anyone interested needs to kennel her with a dog. she is super quick and although i haven't measured her i would say she is about 19 tts but i will measure for anyone who needs to know. she is kc reg and her sire is marandike silver bullet. i gave 275 for her as a pup and we are about ten miles from newport, south wales. open to serious offers via pm cheers Here is a link to her sire's pedigree she is show bred on her sire's side what is the Dams name ? http://thewhippetarchives.net/details.php?id=81015
