Most spectacular shot

Hi, Was working for a Pest Control Company, and asked to do a pigeon shoot for a very big company who has a very bad pigeon problem we shoot approx 40 pigeons every couple of weeks in there warehouses, this evening when i arrived the guy's in the gate house said i had just missed the local foxes feeding as they feed them {6} so i went on my rounds shot approx 50 pigeons with my Air ArmsS400, i thought i would have a cup of tea in my van, when Charlie popped up about 60yrds from me having a good old run around on a bank of grass outside main offices, could not say {NO}took the shot, 1" high behind the ear and it dropped like a stone,1st thinking run LOL, went over put it in black bin bag and clean up blood, it was put in the back of van with pigeons, drove home taken 30mins, reversed van into drive way and opened door to take air rifle out and was greeted with a very angry Fox which should have been dead with the amount of blood loss i cleaned up and no signs of life, it would not let me in the van, had to go into house and get my .22Rimfire and dispose of it,was not funny but work mates did LOL, was still a good shot with my Air Arms S400 but would not reccommend to be so stupid as i was, would use my .270 from now on.

 

WOW! Somethings best kept to yourself and not to be posted!! Very unsporting and not to mention cruel!! I dont usually comment on a post when I dont agree with whats been said but I cant help myself!!! sorry!!

I think it better Black Lab if you edited the post friend as what you have written is very very very naughty.

 

Some regulars on here will not like reading what you have written and you may find that some of them will be very offended and report you to the mods on here.

 

This is just friendly advice mate so you can either take it or leave it, but I suggest that you take it.

 

Shooting foxes with a sub 12 FP rifle is not on and should not be done. Not even by the best shot in the world.

 

What’s worst is you then admitted to us all that it didn’t kill the fox and it was suffering in your van.

 

The post is just outrageous Black Lab and a dishonour to my good friends on here who work along side me to make this section the best it can be.

 

In fact it’s just the type of post that an anti would love to get his hand on and use it to stop us hunters from doing out thing.
