Phil Lloyd 10,738
Raw Green Tripe is a fabulous 'filler' for canines,.but,.it is mostly water Why not give the tripe just a few times a week, and compliment it with chicken carcases, lamb necks, fish...etc.. Try and locate a local butcher who will give you the weekly wastage,... it will be cheaper, and better All the best to you,.CHALKWARREN...
inan 841
do any of you feed tripe if so how often thanks tbear I'm probably in the minority ,but I dont have a high regard for tripe ,its lacking in protein and other goodness ,holds a lot of water, dogs can lose their backs if fed mainly on it.I feed rabbit, giblets and beef mince supplemented with a couple of tins of pilchards and a few eggs a week . I top this off with breast of lamb, other bones and yeast tabs and cod liver oil caps.
