FOXHUNTER 5,021
Last night saw us doing one of my farms that I have only lamped once this year. Standing below a gorse covered bank the call was switched on and immediately 2 sets of eyes appeared. Nothing came so we left the call on for about 10 mins before eventually I spotted a fox creeping along side the edge of the cover. It slowly emerged into the field but fled straight away , I gave it a holler and Ratcherman dropped it at 120 yds. We then proceeded to lamp towards the far end of the farm. Once again the call was played and another fox came within a minute and was dispatched. We then went back to the original field to collect the 1st victim and lo and behold another fox. This one took off to the far end of the field and once again I stopped it with a holler. Ratcherman pulled off a good shot and knocked this heavy vixen over at 203 paces. Last night was the most enjoyable nights foxing Ive had this season. Edited October 20, 2009 by FOXHUNTER Quote Link to post
