jake824 517
pre ban but. have kept bull greyhounds for a good few years now and the 5/8 x 3/8 i run is getting on now. now when we are, sorry were doing fox drives or out with terriers my dogs always ran next to the quad all day and i found as my dogs got older and heavier he s slowing down a bit. would a saluki greyhound x bull greyhound still have enough drive as a fox dog. never had a dog with saluki in and im interested in that it would throw a bit of stamina in the dog but would it still have the drive. i mean single handed drive. does anyone run this cross hard and how do they perform. i m not interested in bitchiness or sarcasm would just like some advice. thanks Quote Link to post

poacher3161 1,766
I heard years ago that the litter mates to the well known coursing dog rambo [saluki/grey/grey/bull] were very good on stuff that bit back and i believe this said dog was still running well at an older age as i know my mate lost to it [bANNED TEXT] he matched his pure saluki against it.atb dell Quote Link to post
Guest 1 man and hiz dog
these are very good dogs mate but i find the saluki throws it out a bit [bANNED TEXT] it comes to the sharp end but get the right one and you wont look back Quote Link to post

Brummy 9
Nothing wrong with Saluki in the mix as long as the Saluki blood is good game stuff. Got one here and he loves his hard work and I wouldn't swap him for anything. Quote Link to post

You get the craziness with stamina, i have seen Him kill bigger game but his jaws wouldnt be as powerful as a bull hound. Quote Link to post
