pencoed hunter 7
Went ferreting Sunday Met my cousin at 6 and got picked up by my uncle then arrived at the permission at 7ish. Got to the first warren netted up and put all 3 ferrets down ( 2 jill kits and the mother about 7 years old) waited 20 minuets 1 hit the net but not enough sag on some parts and bounced off 3 times and then finally got tangled. waited another 10 minuets another one bolted bounced off the net and back down the hole. Left it for another 10 minuets and ferrets came out on to the next warren Next warren was massive took 2 50yrd long nets 2 gate nets and 20 purse nets to cover it. let it settle down then entered the ferrets we got 2 from this but 5-6 bolted and ran back down we were at this one for about an hour and half then went on to the next one. Netted up again entered the ferrets but kits were to tired to do any more at this point tried putting them down the hole but they were squealing and wouldn't go down so it was up to the mother but she could get through the hole warren on her own and didn't bolt any so packed up did afew more then went home. But were off up there this weekend with some more ferrets 3 wernt enough for this job Here's some pics Pics arnt the best of quality but ill take the other camera next time Quote Link to post
