blackfox 9
Erm, i use a PES T12 on my .204ruger..... its very good although a little heavy. I use it on my Remington 700 SPS Varmint so its a weighty rifle anyways. I got it on the advice from some chaps on the guntrader forum, they all had .308s and said how good it was. Hope this helps Sam Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
I've never actually used one and to the best of my knowledge I don't know anyone who has one! Closest I got was a while back when I got my .308 SPS from Greenfields in Salisbury and they put one on the end for me to try in the store (barrel was full length but cut), balance was good, it surprised me! Not that cheap I recall, and I chopped the barrel anyway and put a P8 Compact on the rifle, that works ok for me! ATB...I would be interested in your views on it if you do get one! Quote Link to post
Fidgety 8
Got a PES (magnum???) on my tika t3 .243, nice slim looking thing, good sound reduction, makes it nose heavy but i suspect they all do that. Shame the PES website is crap otherwise i could tell you more precisely what it is. Edited October 20, 2009 by Fidgety Quote Link to post
Mr_Logic 5
I've not used one either, from what I hear they work pretty well. My only worry would be the shiny steel on the lamp, so that'll need tape or something, but I would also be interested to hear how it works. Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
they look big and heavy. like a coke can cut open ! Quote Link to post
mattydski 560
Very heavy. Caution on longer barrelled light hunting rifles. Got one on my .243 Sauer. Balance is all to feck to be honest. And silver...as already mentioned, so mines painted matt black. Performance is good, and that's why it stays, its virtually indestructible. (that and I'm skint) Quote Link to post
MrYou 0
as above, my brother has one on a 270 ,it makes the gun unbalanced & front heavy Quote Link to post
