fieldfare 1
I was told Ben Potter flew a high percentage Gyr/Saker and ran a pair of Salukis at Brown Hare very successfully. It was a white gyr/saker falcon 3/4 I think). Did it take hares into double figures though ? As just a few kills does'nt make a full season in my book. All I've quoted is what I've seen in the field and not Forum Land hearsay. Quote Link to post
fieldfare 1
I know his brother flies a broomstick..... Ha ha Class... Each to there own, but for me personally the falcons I would fly would be for feather. But to stand over a warren for ferreted rabbits with a falcon is not for me. If the falcon was in a waiting on position, say 200ft up I would wince when the bird made contact with a rabbit form that height at speed.... Edited March 31, 2010 by fieldfare Quote Link to post
