Sadly I lost a terrier to ground today.

After a good few hours of him entering, we broke through to him right up against his quarry but he was dead. He was wedged in so tight it seems he's blocked off the air flow and unfortunately he's suffocated as a result.

To say I'm gutted would be an understatement, but it's just how things turn out in this game some times.

That's it mate, it is gutting but like you said about the dog you lost, me and a good few digging pals of mine had some great outings with him, he done me proud :good: .

I'm terrible sorry your dog mate, and I hope I don't misunderstand something, but if the dog's blocked off the air flow he's quarry must be also dead. Am I right?
