stormrider8 59
Just wondered how many of you will run your dogs on it? Its that time of year again and most is cut around here, it always seems to hold good numbers of stuff but they seem to leave it quite long. Last year my bitch picked up quite a few injuries on it ,nothing serious but it always makes me feel i shouldnt be running her on it, cheers lads. Quote Link to post

Magwitch and I walked a field of it Saturday ,just looking for rabbit holes, the cut stalks are about 6inches high and like bayonets, none of my dogs willl be run in it,I value their eyesight too much. Tiny 7 1,694
Well to be honest i run on it, As well as plough cause thats all thats round me, never had much trouble with it, if i wait till its all down and soft and what not then half the season would be over, get out and run them.... So people will disagree but thats there opinion Atb T 7 Edited October 19, 2009 by tiny 7 Quote Link to post

border lad 1,047
No I would not run my dog on that stubble, what for to break, it down, a dog can pick up injuries, very easy on wire, +electric, wire, I think those who run it do not value there dogs, Quote Link to post
