Must have found a different crop to eat. Down here I keep finding very poor conditioned dying squabs. same for us mate a few weeks back they were coming from every direction and last time we were out i think we shot about ten and they were full of berreys and a little bit corn. thing should pick up soon as the field we were shooting is the only one that the farmer is leaving as stuble over winter so they should hammer it Quote Link to post

dunc 7
Look out for newly cut Maize- the woodies down here love it Les there should be woodies arriving from the continent soon as they like to winter here, the field fairs are late to haven't seen any yet to signal the winter arrivals, we will just have to wait and see. willum 89
same here on the 4 farms i shoot on i havent seen any numbers of pigeons on any of them but drove past a old peice of land prob about 35 mtrs x 100 mtrs and it was full of the blue things prob was cant shoot them as the owner is a [bANNED TEXT] old missery guts and will not allow any 1 on his land. but a mate of mine has been feeding a stuble feild near me he shot 235 2 saturdays ago and then shot 305 on one day last week. so guess what im going to do with my last stubble feilds before they go.
