blackfox 9
Theres a chance that i can get a Ior Valdada 6-24x50 Tactical scope with 35mm tube at a good price. It will come with rings to fit so thats not an issue, has anyone had any use of this brand? Ive seen some very good reviews about the quality, people saying that they are changing their nightforce for ior. Any comments/advice would be great! thanks Sam Quote Link to post
dougy 0
I have an IOR 4-14x50 ill ret the quallity of glass is very good i found little comparable difference comparing against a mates S&B.Very good sound clicks They are very rugged and certianly shock proof, well i gave mine a good test last winter by Going "A" over "T" sliding full length down a metal farm gate lying in the frozen grass, ended on my back while carrying a 12lb rifle, landed square on the scope, didnt shoot that night due to possible loss of zero, checked the following day, and it hadnt budged still smack on the nail I would not hesitate in buying another. mind you they have gone up quite a lot in 3 years Quote Link to post

Its got the T-8 Reticle and its illuminated. Cause its got a 35mm tube dose it mean it should be great for lamping? Thanks Sam Quote Link to post

I'll give you a tip or 2 though, I have left my illuminated reticle switched on and drained the battery a few times now, to help remind me i have taped a thin strip of glo in the dark tape square accross the dial so its easier to see if its left on, also if your lamping alone using a scope mounted lamp and suffer from scope glare off the mod put a strip of insulation tape accross the bottom 1/2 inch of the scope works a treat. £800 sound good to me, there definatly up there with the top boys as far as quality goes, and i think very good value. i can see the price creaping up more as they gain popularity though. Happy safe shooting Quote Link to post
