nighttimenellie 4
Having promised Giro if he was good lol, that i would take him to a special place, last night was the night, I had checked the ground was free from stock a couple of days earlier so with it forecast rain we headed for the chosen ground last night(i felt a bit under pressure telling him we would get 50 minimum) anyhow got there and every field bar 3 had stock in it i was gutted, but we done the fields we could with Giros dog Ruby running like a dream as usuall, and Flame just doing his terrible best. At least we managed to scrape a few runs and i think a good total was on the cards if we could have done the whole farm but it wasnt ment to be, dogs caught just over 50, but we managed to lose a few from the bags(have to carry all you catch round with you as there are no drop off points, i think Giro was lobbing them as he didnt half moan all the way round lol) and as we pulled in to gut them at the end of the night Giro gave Ruby a sigle handed retreive on a big ears, shes not a bad dog at all that Ruby, and has some very decent stamina aswell, only downer is took kids to docs today both have the swine flu, and i have strated spluttering so im in quarentine Quote Link to post
