ferreter.al 22 Posted October 19, 2009 Report Share Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) how old do you start a ferret of with sucses ive always been told 10 to 12 months well acording to james mkay's complete guide to ferrets they reach adult weight at 4 months and are no longer classed as kitts.iv had this years young ens out once. when i start ferreting seriously when the brambles die back i will work them a lot more but i dont think you have to wait as long as 12 months,get them out and give them a try,atvb with them.
