thurso jack 3
above just some scenery pics below some evidence of activity lots of signs of charlie everywhere but little evidence of a den, could they be using the gorse bushes as they are so thick?? some pics of the dogs messing around, on a trail. 2 into 1 doesent go!! archie at full throttle! bushing, it so thick here too big! most times you go out here you can see thousands of rabbits and more aften than not foxes and roe deer, cracking bit of land. Guest Bodach
Hi, your foxes will be lying up in the gorse, very difficult to deal with, afraid best method is a wee pack of hounds, or big leggy russells like J Waters runs up your way, I have the same type of ground and now only shoot it as its just far too risky running the terriers loose as you can never be sure where they are or what they are hunting in thick gorse as it is just so difficult to get through the bloody stuff. Why don't you try a midden and lie out as the light goes. Its a good way of getting them, course not as much fun as a dig or bolt. B Quote Link to post
Mish 1
No doubt they'll be some earths within the gorse mate. Looks like you could do with a strong bushing dog in that lot. Lovely spot you've got there mind. Hope you come accross somerts soon. Quote Link to post
