Aaron_butcher 17
Cheers lads I'm a bit on the paranoid side at the minute as they are my first and i'd been looking on the American sites and they make out ferret care to be such hard work! Quote Link to post
Halfinch 51
LOL, Yanks make eating breakfast sound like hard work, as long as you keep your ferrets warm, clean, fed and watered, they are generally a hardy animal, i trod on one of my jill's last week, obviously an accident, and she was a bit lethargic, but she was out again this week none the worse for wear. Enjoy your ferrets, they make good pets if treated right, and with the added bonus, that they can hunt. Quote Link to post

Aaron_butcher 17
Looking on eBay for collars and locators, they are all about 120+ is this the general price for them or am I being mugged off? And where I want to go ferreting there is a thin tree line and barbed wire fence running through the middle of the warren, should I give this a miss as if I need to dig em out it's going to be a struggle with the fence and if I do put them down there should I have a bloke on either side of the fence to keep an eye out for my ferret coming back up (the gaps in the wire are far enough apart for me to dive through and neck the rabbits, just don't want a runaway. Guest lavyheed
Looking on eBay for collars and locators, they are all about 120+ is this the general price for them or am I being mugged off? Your not getting mugged off!Thats about the going price for them mate. That's why another company needs to come up with another locator, sell it cheaper and start giving deben a run for their money.
