out for a hour on the lamp!!!

well jnr was on to me all week about abit of lamping, i gave in to him :angel: so we headed off for a look tonight, he was on the lamp and i have to say he fairly good my main lamper was on the piss, and for danny he in love :sick: , anyway he sat out the window like the lads do, we drove up a afew farmers lanes checking the fields on one side and as we came back he lamped the other side lol, in one lane we were about a half a mile in ..... lamp off .....dad there one there he said i pulled up took the .243 out up on the roof gave my little whistle :whistling: ......lamp on as he look again for the fox no sign till about 3 light squeeks of my hand the fox looked up jnr lock on to it with the lamp as i lined him up bang .........tud lamp off, you got him i say, jnr said ..ya i did...., i ranged it he was at 193 yrds as jnr is only 8 i had to run 193 yrds out and back with a big dog fox, jnr was over the moon as we said we call it a nite , :no: as we came up to another farm i know i said feck it we give a quick shine in here, jnr out the window again he only lamped the first field lamp off again i just got a quick look at the fox , so pulled up again got ready gave my whistle... lamp on and right there beside us there he stood, i took a head shot down he went i ranged him at 52 yrd :icon_redface: , this fox was only a handy one as for the first fox i think he a fair size one, 2 dog foxes

down and only out for a hour or so , jnr did well on the lamp, he stopped stopping me on sheep, horses, as he getting used to it now lol. here afew pic of nite out

Nice to see the young one out, my wee girl wanting to go out, only 5 though. One day have her out. Like they say the Young's ones are the future in this industry

 

nice one good to see the young lad out and about with the old man. :D if only all the kids now adays spent more time out in the fresh air learning things. instead of being on there computers. ;)

nice pics mate the lad looks like he's well on his way with that lamp,and two good foxes for all his work "good lad"

 

started my lad off at 6 years old at 16 he became a gamekeeper now the girl is out with me she's 11 hope she's sticks at it to.
