UNFIT any one calling themselves an expert on lamping with lurchers is bound to get stick of other dog lads.

In your case.....a fanny! If your a black belt in lamping with your ninja dog why dont you travel? there's a couple of guys invited you out and you say you dont travel they need to come to you.....you've got messer written all over you mate

a couple have invited me out ,?????? look again ,it was only whin ,and i have no need ,i got every thing i need on my door step ,that is why i can make a living from it , and become so GOOD at what i do ,and i can get out every night ,unlike part timers like your self .

I merely asked what cross you run. Now its getting interesting-you make a living from lamping you say? Without any benefit payments? how?

I'll disregard the beddy/whippet and assume you have the ultimate big game killer you claim. How much game do you sell per week to make a living from it? I'm genuinely curious.

localy in company when we have a big nite i always check the dogs , some nites alot of just pure running stubble after stubble , then can be quick hare roe hare roe roe had some great nites but it is testing unless weathers in your favour and no other fecher been out pestering them , this is all pre ban and pestcontrol purposes, the saluk type is the best type up here just has to be basterised and bred a bit to get the best , but the good ones are very good on the e 40 to 100 acres feilds great sport , but no running wind and youll go home early some nites

A man would need a never ending supply of game and outlets for it. This would require the lamper to venture further and further afield as the game was depleted or educated,as it would be by regular lamping. The further afield,the less time to catch-not withstanding having to find game rich country to supply your game. YOU CANT CATCH THEM TWICE!

then take into account moon,poor conditions, injury-no UNFIT,i dont buy it.

The romantic image of living off lamping does not add up if you do some simple maths.

in the ninteis we done realy well not just one qaurry and well it would need to be very proffesional and well there better ways than a dog believe me ,but it can be short lived ,over hundreds of sqaure miles etc , and willing helpers whose family are going like you not ,cause your out all the time, its been done at the salmos and the deer but its difficult to get rid of the wares in large qauntities all the time i think a bit of work and a bit of play does work ,bend like the wind to suit the qaurrry as they say , best mornings work we had was 11 roe with permision stripping trees that had been planted ,never got that much with hounds full stop just not there all the time ,plus we got paid for clearing them out , we dont have herds up were i am lots ye but only in pockets fallo red well you could fill a van in some places thats for sure ,and ps thelonger your oput more chance of a chase in and out move on always the way

i wonder if any one could live of the land in such a large area as the FOREST OF DEAN with all its sourounding rivers FULL OF SALMON and ,TROUT , and tidal waters FULL OF ALL SORTS OF FISH TO BE SOLD OR EATEN and in the fields and woods you have DEER ,BOAR ,RABBITS ,HARES ,WALLABIES ,yes they are here as well as BIG CATS ,HUNDREDS OF PHEASANTS SHOOTS ,WILD AMERICAN TURKEYS ,QUAIL , DUCKS plus all the vermin that needs sorting by some one at a price ,well the list could go on ,but i realy dont think it would be possible my self ,so i would have to agree with every one else ,and as for out lets for all this game and fish ,of course your average jo would not buy it a lot cheaper than they could from any shop ,even if it was all fresh and not pumped with antibiotics to keep it alive . and i wonder if every time you got pulled in a motor you could explain where you got the fish or game from legally ,would the law keep on pestering you ,just some of my thoughts that would make it impossible to do so . we can only dream of such a life .
