alsation x greyhound first x

hi i'm thinking of buying a first x alsation x greyhound as one of my mates has one and it kills everything its allowed. i've seen alot of breeds run but nothing i've found so far can match its endurance and power. what are peoples views on the breed and can any body advise. if any one has got any pics of the breed they could post that would be great.

1st cross gsd/grey 8months old,bit of a sh*t pic but its all ive got lol, brilliant dog in the daytime and on the lamp but she is tackling the cover to much she fights her way through thick bramble, make sure the gsd has a good strong set of back legs because apparently they can damage easy in this breed

Its risky getting a lurcher bred that way if its you first running dog.This cross you only get to hear about the good ones??

I fancy this cross, I have a couple of imported shepherds and I'd like to see what putting the old boy across a decent greyhound would prodcue, maybe one day................

good x ,if you get a good one ,try and have the alsation as the mother ,you will get a better dog out of that way bred .

yeah i would want the mum to be the alsation my mates is. i want a dog like gritt which was 30"tts and coursed from 3 months till it died at about 10 years of age. that was a first x. never pulled off a course and stayed strong through his life.

if it was the dog im on about ,then yes 3 months old ,but it was not on hares ,just like most dogs that were and are owned by people who know how to get the best from a dog if its got it in it .. Edited October 16, 2009 by UNFIT

yeah it was owned by ph from hereford. now hes got his beddy whippet, blue and his other bred through foxy and a greyhound. his was alsation as the mum. what dog do you run mate

blues other brother ,there was 3 but as you know jack got killed last year doing what he loved best .

you from monmouth. if yes i seen your dog in action, hes a great dog. i got a pup bred through jack and t from by bromyards meg. all us boys train our dogs bit different to the other lads. i'm finding hard to find a good bread first cross the right way round

not monmouth ,ross on wye ,not far from there .dont let on about how we train them or they will all be at it .
