here's bruce. i had him of a nice fella off here. he found him where he walks his dogs. it looks like he was dumped and was in poor condition. He couldn't keep him so he gave him to me. im not sure of his breeding but there is deerhound in there. im not sure how long iv had him but it must be about 4 month now. hes very keen and will face the thickest cover. after a bit of work iv got him retrieving and is recall is spot on. i think hes still young. he has a lot to learn but is progressing well and has has a bit of action and im impressed.

 

this is when i first got him.

but now he looks and is a strong dog and is brill to have around.

this fox was shot of course but it would have took him the whole of 20 seconds to kill it he went mad on it.

i love this dog to bits already, hes got a heart of a lion when hes out.Hes now fed the best and walked miles a day. one things for sure the hes got a home for life here.

looks overweight to me. but nice dog all the same

 

your right mate. i cant get him to the weight i would like, no matter how much i change his diet or up his exercise.i just think he one of them dogs and that maybe is his ideal weight. hes very fit anyway and has good stamina so that's all that matters. :victory: thanks for the comments lads :notworthy:

i am mate. its very rewarding after putting a lot of work in and seeing him nail his quarry. not as good as seeing your pup have its first catch but its not far off.
